ABC signs deal with Yahoo7 for archive content

Archived programming from public broadcaster ABC will soon appear on Yahoo!7’s PLUS7 catch-up TV service after its commercial arm, ABC Commercial, has announced that it has signed a deal with the website. Today 7PLUS, the TV catch-up service from Yahoo7, has been launched for the PlayStation 3. Users can now access the PS3 optimised website straight from the PlayStation 3’s Xross Media Bar. Yahoo7 to start culling jobs – follows US move

The Australian is reporting that Yahoo7 has begun sacking its workers, with a number of employees being made redundant immediately. A spokesperson for the company has confirmed the news, but did not mention on an specific number.
