Toshiba wants their new Kirabook to compete with the MacBook Pro and Chromebook Pixel

Toshiba’s updating their Kirabook notebooks, just in time for CES 2014. The new model has a Haswell processor, a 9-hour battery life, and will cost $100 USD less, which may change when released in Australia. Releasing mid-February in the US, the notebook remains very similar to its predecessor, with a high-resolution PixelPure display (2560 x 1440-resolution), 256GB of SSD storage, 8GB of RAM, and a 1.17kg weight.
