The Medium gameplay reveal at Xbox Digital Event is keeping us up at night

The Medium

The game Medium is a next-gen psychological horror game, perfectly set in Krakow, Poland during the ’90s, from Bloober Team. It’s soundtracked by Akira Yamaoka, legendary composer for the Silent Hill series, along with Arkadiusz Reikowski who you will recognise from the survival-horror game Husk or OBSERVER_ by the same studio, so you know already what you’re getting yourself into.

During Xbox’s Digital Event some incredibly beautiful, but disturbing gameplay was revealed. What more can I say than, thank you?

Become a medium living in two different worlds: the real one and the spirit one. Haunted by the vision of a child’s murder, you travel to an abandoned hotel resort, which many years ago became the stage of an unthinkable tragedy. There you begin your search for difficult answers.

As a medium with access to both worlds, you have a wider perspective and can see more clearly that there’s no one simple truth to what others perceive. Nothing is what it seems, everything has another side.

Everything about The Medium is screaming (pun intended) Silent Hill vibes. Something we’ve been needing for a while, so we’re looking forward to hopefuly seeing a unique and frightening experience from the game developers at Bloober Team.
