For those that have not been introduced to the idea of the Padfone – it’s pretty much a smartphone and tablet combination, but in order to use the tablet you will need to connect the phone to the back. Well, ASUS has announced another Padfone variant called the PadFone mini. Inside, it has an Atom Z2560 processor and 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. Other internal specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0 support, and 1GB of RAM inside.

Running on Android, it will include the ZenUI skin. All the modifications and additions found on the Zenfone will be found on the Padfone mini – including its PixelMaster camera enhancements – and the ability to create “engaging” photo stories.
