Plants vs Zombies 2 now available on Android – if you live in Australia or NZ

It’s rare for Australians to get something before the Americans or Europeans, but this news will please many Android users in Australia. PopCap Games has finally launched the Android version of Plants vs Zombies 2 – but only to those living in Australia and New Zealand.

EA Mobile says that they are launching in Australia and New Zealand first in order to perform real-world testing before its actual global launch sometime later in the year. The two countries join China as the only countries that have access to the Android version of Plants vs Zombies 2, with EA Mobile launching a Chinese language version last month.

The game, like its iOS counterpart, is free to download and you can find it on the Google Play Store.
