Monster taps into K-Pop market with DIAMOND TEARS – EDGE Headphones range

By on

Another headphone deal announced with Monster partnering with K-Pop recording label JYP Entertainment and its owner, J.Y. Park, to create the DIAMOND TEARS – EDGE headphones range. According to Monster, they were all “based on and inspired by J.Y. Park’s musical talent” (apparently).

First off the ranks is the DIAMOND TEARS – EDGE High Definition Music Headphones, which will retail for US$279.95. The design, however, is meant to be based on “edgy like diamonds, smooth like tears”., and looks like to be attracting the young K-Pop addicted female crowd. These are set to be available in stores sometime this quarter.

Also announced were in-ear versions of the headphones. No pricing was announced, nor any clear details, except that it will be in stores sometime “in the latter half of 2012”.
