If you happen to be an owner of the HTC HD2, you would be sad to see that you are stuck with the second-most unusable operating system, Windows Mobile (Not to be confused with Windows Phone 7). Well, now you can experience the freedom of Flash and other goodies with Android, as someone has managed to port version 3.0 Honeycomb to the device.
Of course, because it’s not supposed to be running on the device, not everything will work. Features such as the camera, the Wi-Fi, any audio playback and even the phone functions will not work. But you will be pleased to know that you can still interact with the phone, and even the LED lights and buttons still work. Also working, according to an Italian blog, is that graphics hardware acceleration and the browser works.
The port has been released on xda-developers, and the port authors are also working on Honeycomb ports for both the Desire and Nexus. You can see the video, after the jump.
