It features some features seen on the iPad, which Apple called ‘the iPad and Mac hooking up’.
Starting at $1199, the new Air uses solid-state flash storage, similar to a thumbdrive and can instantly turn on, just like unlocking an iPad. It’s thickest is 0.68″ and thinnest is 0.11″ and weighs 2.9 pounds, or 1.3kg. It’s a unibody design and has a 1.86GHz or 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo processor, GeForce 320m graphics, and 2GB RAM.
Apple says that it can last 7 hours of web-browsing on it’s battery, and can go for 30 days on standby.
