Remember the Nokia X3? Well, Nokia has announced a brand new facelift for the X3 brand, and giving it something new entirely for a candybar phone – a touchscreen with keys. The first in its new Touch and Type branding, the X3 will have a full 12-button keypad while also giving you the option to press and select an option from your device.
The phone has a very thin design – 9.6mm in thickness – and has a 5 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom. It does support 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and has a battery life of up to 5.3 hours talk time and up to 17 days standby time. It comes in five colours: White Silver, Dark Metal, Petrol Blue, Pink and Lilac.
The phone is expected to come out in the third quarter with a price tag of EUR 125 – and that is without any subsidiaries by the mobile operators and taxes. And for those fans of the original X3, don’t worry, it isn’t going any time soon.
