VHA announces iPad plans: $14.95 for 1GB, $49.95 for unlimted

Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) has announced its plans for the iPad, days within the iPad’s release in Australia, including offering an unlimited option for Vodafone customers.

Vodafone will customers a prepaid option, and will offer 250MB for $9.95, while 1GB and 4GB plans will cost you $14.95 and $29.95 respectively. There will also be an unlimited option for $49.95. All recharge options will expire within 30 days. There are also two other plans – $100 for 6GB and $150 for 12GB of data – that expire 180 days and 365 days respectively.

Sister brand 3 Australia will also offer pre-paid plans, with $15 getting you 500MB of data, with 1GB of bonus data; while $29 and $49 will get you 2GB and 4GB respectively plus 2GB of bonus data. These expire within 30 days. There will also be a 12GB option that will set you back $149, and that will also expire in 365 days like Vodafone’s plan.

Three will also offer, the first as I know, a plan-esque option, with you paying $15 or $29 a month for 1GB and 3GB of data respectively, and these will also include bonus data and a microSIM. For pre-paid users, you will also have the option to get a free microSIM, but you are paying for the postage and handling – a cost that is 50c.
