Facebook status messages finally get privacy control

By on

If you have been on Facebook today, you will now have seen this little padlock next to the Share button. This, my friends, controls who can see which status messages that you post – and you can have it by default for all posts, and some limited to a very few. You are given four options: Everyone, Friends of Friends, Friends Only and Custom – which allows you to further customise who can see it and not.

If you previously set any status updates to be seen by a certain few, then that will be your default; and if not, then the default will be Friends Only.
