Perez Hilton claims attacks him, uses Twitter instead of calling police

Perez Hilton, that guy who happens to be one of the most popular celebrity bloggers, has claimed on Twitter that attacked him in Toronto, and decided to post a Twitter message instead of calling the police – allowing his followers (which are over 1 million) to call it for him.

“I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Pea and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke,” he writes in his Twitter post, posting another follow-up saying, “I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the Police. Need them here.”

He also tweeted that he will not be commenting about the story any further, and that the police are investigating the site.

However, has denied attacking him, and accused Perez Hilton being disrespectful to fellow band member Fergie. “It’s one thing to tell your opinions, and its another thing to go overboard,” he says in a video clip. He also claims that Hilton called him a “faggot” for confronting him in a non-violent way and asks him not to be rude about them.

He also claims that one of the fans attacks him, not “It shows how crazy it can get,” he says.

While we are not going to take any sides, it’s kind of weird for Hilton to actually tweet his assault, instead of calling the police, since the most likely scenario for everyone would be to call the police. As well, because he is a celebrity gossiper, we might not know if this is true – because this could be a fake setup to get some publicity.

Perez Hilton, also known by his real name of Mario Armando Lavandeira, has not mentioned the attack anywhere in his blog because of the current investigation.
