Abobe cuts jobs, axes Macworld Booth

adobe-hq Adobe has announced that it is now expecting that per-share earnings will be between 45 and 46 cents, based on its current outlook on revenue of $912 million to $915 million on the three months that ended on November 28; with expectations of a shortfall on revenue in the current quarter, with revenue expectations in the range of $800 million to $850 million.

In its response to this, it has announced that it will slash 600 jobs at the company over the less demand (and more expensive) of its Creative Suite 4 product line, which includes the latest versions of Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.

As well, it recently announced that it will axe its booth during the Macworld conference, after deciding to “shift its focus”.
