Nokia to close plant, “reorganises” 600 employees

Nokia has announced that it would close its plant in Turku, Finland; and it will redeploy the 600 staff in the plant to its Salo plant or near its site near the capital in Helsinki. It will also announced a “sharpened focus”  that would see 130 staff in its research and development department, plus another 35 staff in operations, at risk of being fired.
