The new iPod touch has arrived, and according to Engadget, it will still have the same screen size and capacity lineup – but with a lower price point. There is also some hardware tweaks, like a built-in speaker, and a Nike+ receiver. There are also some UI tweaks as well.
Battery life is said to be 36 hours for audio and 6 hours of video. The App store has also been included.
The new price point for the 8GB is $199 (or $299, according to Engadget), the 16GB will be $299 and the 32GB will be $399. All of them are in US pricing.
