Sony Australia has issued a major recall for over 4000 Vaio TZ series laptops, over fears that those models could overheat or burn the laptop user.

This comes after it recently discovered flaws with some TZ series notebooks sold between May 2007 and July 2008. The flaw, according to a spokesperson, is said to be because of plastic could be deformed in the DC jack inlet or LCD surrounding area because of the high temperatures.

It is also offering inspection free of charge and free repairs for those affected. You can view more information at their website, where you can also find how to check if you are affected as well.
