Apple plans for third Australian store

By on

The Age is reporting that Apple will have three official retailers this year, including two Sydney stores and another in Chadstone, Victoria.

These stores are part of an aggressive international expansion and will be part of the company’s lucrative network of 200 stores, many of them based in the US.

It is now currently putting the finishing touches on the three-level store in Sydney, located on the corner of George Street and King Street. Over the past few weeks, construction workers have closed off parts of George Street so they could install the transparent glass facade at the entrance, where it will hold a large and white suspended logo of the company.

Apple has not confirmed the 2nd Sydney store or the Chadstone store, but it has been leaked as it’s Jobs Opportunities page on the website shows that it is actively seeking for all three. It is believed that the stores will be in Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre and Chadstone Shopping Centre.
