The 32-bit era comes to an end

Microsoft has announced that the last version of Windows Vista and the upcoming Windows Server 2008 will be the last operating systems for the Pentium 4 and Core 2 Duo. This change will apply to both PCs and Macs; as the new feature Boot Camp for the Mac will not be able to run the new operating system after Vista, “Vienna”. It is unknown if the new “Windows Home Server” will be for 32 and/or 64 bit computers, but HP will release the software on a AMD 64-bit processor. Maybe AMD was right to switch to 64 bit…
