Looks very cinematic, doesn’t it? Microsoft has unveiled the multiplayer hub for Halo 4, called Halo Infinity Multiplayer. The entire hub is based around the UNSC Infinity, and you’ll be able to create your own custom super-soldier, and progress your carrier throughout its own story.
343 Industries had recently sent to Halo fans, 32 small images which in fact were ‘pieces to the Halo 4 puzzle’. Shortly after receiving the images, Halo fans were able to put them together, which turned out to be artwork for the game.

I’m more surprised by the fact that this was its ‘first time’ ever, but users on Xbox Live will be soon able to watch Microsoft’s E3 briefing LIVE when the big gaming event happens in June. The briefing will also be broadcast on television on US channel SPIKE.

This is banned in Germany – with Windows 7
A patent dispute between Motorola and Microsoft has now escalated with a German court ruling that the Xbox 360 cannot be sold within the country. Also included in the banned list include Windows 7, Internet Explorer and the Windows Media Player.

This could be banned in the US by Motorola
Motorola appears to have an early win with the US’ International Trade Commission against Microsoft and its Xbox 360 console. The ITC has issued a preliminary report that has said that the Xbox 360 did infringe five of Motorola’s patents.
It’s crunch time for 343 Industries, and with about seven or so months left until its Holiday 2012 release, there is an increase of Halo 4 information surfacing the web recently. After some wait, Microsoft has finally announced a release date for the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft. It will hit the Xbox Live Arcade Store on May 10, as part of its “Arcade NEXT” series of games that will begin on April 19.

A few weeks ago the Zune Music store finally arrived in Australia. But while we have enough online music stores, the big part of the announcement was Zune Pass. For $120 a year you get unlimited on-demand streaming music. But are there some hidden problems?

Update: The update is rolling out now and should be available to all 35 million members of Xbox Live either now or very soon.
Original Story: Uh oh. The Xbox Dashboard update, which was scheduled for release at 2AM AEDT has been delayed according to Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb (known online as Major Nelson).

A new version of the popular Kinect device from Microsoft is in the works. A report, citing anonymous sources, is claiming that it will be bundled in future Xbox consoles and is said to be so accurate that it can lip read.

After the release of Dance Central, and being critiqued as not only the best Dance game but the best Kinect game of 2010, Harmonix has released Dance Central 2 with amazing new tracks and features. With new Crew Challenges and refined Break it down mode will Dance Central 2 be as good and successful as the first game?

Forza 3, released in 2009, was Microsoft’s second shot on the Xbox 360 at the major car simulation market dominated by Sony’s juggernaut Gran Turismo franchise. It was an extraordinary attempt from Take 10 Studios and was received well. Sales still didn’t match the, in my opinion, inferior Gran Turismo 5, but it was a brilliant game which was unfortunately up against a bigger brand.

Wait, what? Yes, apparently a recent rumour appearing all over the internet is that Steam is coming to the Xbox 360 – all based on an addition to its support page options that state quite clearly “XBOX Support”. Right…
