Google goes graphical in new redesigned homepage

Google has been testing a brand new design for its search engine, which some users have been able to access (either via Google’s random selection or using a piece of JavaScript). The new design, which looks like it has been inspired by Google Wave, still includes the suggested search terms and the two familiar buttons; but the colours are lighter and that there is a gradient on the buttons.

Facebook to get redesign on Monday

Facebook is set to get a new look to reflect on how its members (like us) communicate with each other. The new design, which will be unveiled to the public on Monday, will see an expanded Wall – where everyone can leave comments and photos, which will include the user’s Mini-Feed.

MySpace plans redesign next week

Tired of that old, cluttered and really horrible coding on your MySpace page? Well, you may be in luck, as a new design is coming.

The new design is part of a global redesign, in an attempt to widen its demographics and boost user engagement -following Facebook. As well, in what is called the largest scale relaunch of its size, it will change its homepage, navigation, profile editing, search and its MySpaceTV player.
