Lenovo has announced that a brand new tablet – the Idea Tab S2. A 10-inch tablet and running on a custom skin (as you can tell from the image), everyone else will have to wait as China gets its now – a big gamble and could possibly a mistake in the crowded field of tablets.

The news announcements at CES are never ending, with Lenovo mass announcing its new IdeaPad laptop range and its IdeaCentre Desktops for the first and second quarters of this year – all designed to be colourful (with a brand new colour scheme), slim and powerful.

Lenovo has added a range of new laptops in the run-up to CES – with the ThinkPad Edge S430, E430, E530; the ThinkPad B series and the ThinkPad X1. All, however, promise to have excellent performance despite the pretty interiors.
Lenovo is adding a new ultrabook to the soon-to-be growing market at this year’s lead-up to CES, with the ThinkPad T430u – a brand new business-orientated ultrabook that have the same designs as the consumer versions without sacrificing performance.
Windows 8 could come as soon as the third quarter of this year, with a report claiming (citing anonymous sources) that both Acer and Lenovo are set to launch their own tablet running the OS and a new Intel platform.

Lenovo is bringing out three new tablets this year – the IdeaPad Tablet K1, IdeaPad Tablet P1 and ThinkPad Tablet – all running Android 3.1 and all trying to compete against the onslaught of other Android tablets and the popular Apple iPad 2.
Lenovo has brought out a new laptop – the ThinkPad X1, featuring a slick thin body with the features that every corporate worker needs, and security that would make your IT department pleased. It also has been designed to blur corporate and personal, with a range of multimedia capabilities.
And we’re back officially. CES was in full swing, and we saw a lot of tablets, 4G phones and 3D from Sony. We also had crazy Harvey Norman trying to put GST on our purchases online, Facebook being valued at $50 billion and the Mac App Store launch – and hack.
Remember last year when Lenovo presented this really cool laptop-tablet combination called the IdeaPad U1? Well, Lenovo has confirmed that the project isn’t dead – and will come out to market sometime in the first quarter of this year. Only problem – only in China.
Lenovo is coming out strong with a big list of desktops and laptops, and one of them is its new IdeaCentre line – its all-in-one PC brand name it uses, where it essentially merge the monitor and the case together into one. Well, Lenovo is touting that it has the thinnest all-in-one PC with its new IdeaCentre A320, claiming to be less than 19mm thin at its thickest point.
As we near CES, we have gotten some more information on what to expect. Now, it’s Lenovo’s turn, with the company to release a whole slate of new laptops at this year’s event – with at least four new ThinkPads announced to the media (though Lenovo itself isn’t reporting it on its media site, how weird).

Blame Stewart for another late episode. Why? Because we had to wait for his precious iPhone to be reverted to an old version and jailbroken, which took 3 hours and 45 minutes after our original start time. Also, we’re still apparently recovering from our Election Night spectacular – if you can call it spectacular.
Lenovo has announced, incidentally in Japan, its brand new desktop PC called the IdeaCentre A310. With a large LED backlit 21-inch widescreen display that along is 18.5mm slim, it does kind of look like a cross between a Mac Mini and an iMac.
And we’re back with something new. Thanks to Stewart, we are getting back into the podcast game, though we are going to do this monthly. Yeah, I know, a monthly podcast. Basically that would mean that we would basically catch you up with an entire month’s worth of news in a 30 or so minute show, and thanks to Stewart’s wonderful (or infamous) editing skills, we did just that.
