Limera1n and Greenpois0n now available for Mac and Linux.

Follow up to our previous post regarding Limera1n and its release. It was only available for Windows but now… It’s available for Mac and Linux! You can now jailbreak your iOS device on any operating system. However, there is still no carrier unlock for iOS 4.1 so if you need that, hold off for now.

Geohot releases new jailbreak called Limera1n

And here I thought he was gone! Geohot has done it again, releasing a jailbreak for iOS 4.0-4.1. The jailbreak is untethered and compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4 and iPod Touch 3. It’s available for Windows only at the moment, but Mac and Linux versions are expected to be coming soon.
