LG confirms Nexus 4 – 4.7-inch screen, 8MP camera, quad-core processor; on sale from Nov 13

LG has confirmed what we basically now know exist – the Nexus 4. The new smartphone, that becomes Google’s next flagship device for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (The Samsung-produced Galaxy Nexus was for Ice Cream Sandwich), will be sold next month in selected markets. And despite being scarred by the Optimus-line of smartphones, reading the hardware specifications, it does look pretty good.

Motorola DROID RAZR HD leaked out to web (+ video)

Motorola’s chance to announce something and try and take away the carpet from Nokia’s own press conference on September 5 appears to be blown away. Someone on YouTube called revowii has posted video tutorials of a phone that is speculated to be the DROID RAZR HD – or known officially as the Motorola XT926.

Report: Google to sell ‘portfolio of Nexus’ devices with multiple partners

RUMOUR MILL: By Thanksgiving, we could see five new ‘Nexus’ smartphones and tablets – the title given to Android’s flagship phone for a particular version – being sold directly to consumers through Google, as opposed to the traditional carriers. Well, that’s if a report by the Wall Street Journal is true.
