It’s a very sad day if you are a Flip lover. Cisco has announced that it will be killing its Flip business it acquired just over two years ago, along with some closures in other divisions, as it plans to “realign” its consumer business.

Dell sues LCD makers for price fixing

Dell has accused five Asian LCD manufacturers — Hitachi, Sharp, Toshiba, HannStar, and Seiko Epson – for price fixing in a lawsuit filed in the US District Court of San Francisco, according to a report on Reuters.
Flip Mino maker to be bought by Cisco?
Makers of the Flip Mino and Flip Mino HD camcorders, Pure Digital Technologies, is said to be for sale with one interest buyer being Cisco, according to TechCrunch.
The camera, which has been hugely popular (even though it hasn’t hit the Australian market yet) as it allows users to upload videos on the internet by attaching them via a USB port attached to the device.
