Leading gaming publishers Square Enix, Activision Blizzard and EA have been announced as some of the game publishers to produce games for Microsoft’s latest add-on to the Xbox 360, Project Natal.

Activision Blizzard merger gets stockholder approval
The Activision/Vivendi Games merger is now likely to get the go-ahead after Activision’s stockholders have agreed to the merger with Vivendi Games, the owners of Blizzard (the creators of World of Warcraft). The proposal saw more than 92 percent of the shareholders agree to the merger.
Activision releases Guitar Hero version of Aerosmith
Aerosmith fans will now be able to act like Steven Tyler and Joe Perry as Activision released a brand new game under its Guitar Hero series.
Dubbed "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith", dozens flocked the Hard Rock restaurant in Times Square to see the band debut and try out the game for themselves. The game will also feature 30 of the band’s notable hits, like "Love in an Elevator" and "Sweet Emotion" – and will also include songs from other artists that Aerosmith collaborated or performed with.
Activision and Vivendi drops ESA membership
News in Brief: Joystiq is reporting that both Activision and Vivendi Games have decided to drop their membership for the Entertainment Software Association, after their announcement that they would not attend E3 this year yesterday.
Guitar maker adds stores in ‘Guitar Hero’ lawsuit
Guitar manufacturer Gisbon Guitar has now added six major retailers to its lawsuit against Activision’s Guitar Hero. The stores are Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, Gamestop, Toys-R-Us and Amazon.
The decision to add them to the lawsuit was made “reluctantly”, according to a statement released by the manufacturer.
