Boing Boing has written that Finland is now allowing you to break the CSS DRM on your DVD, as Finish law only protects “effective” DRM, and since it’s been broken many times; this means it’s no longer protected!

Hey,

We got it working again. We re-recorded the podcast and we got the first episode working. Now I need to get a new microphone.

You can find more information at http://techgeek.scorerightservices.com/live/. That’s where you get the show notes for when it’s my turn to host and all the information about the podcast. StormX [aka James] will host next week’s podcast, while Stewart will host the week after.

See Ya!

Due to problems with recording our podcast, we have to do it again… so yes, it will be recorded late at night (if Stewart goes online) or early tomorrow morning…

Show Notes will be provided and as well, a filler podcast will be created if the show is ever delayed again

Sorry!

P.S- We are NOT using Skypecasts as it’s crap, and the recording facilities don’t allow us to record unless we pay US$29.95. If you want, don’t forget to donate…

It has gone very well, its 9:00PM and we are still going! Show notes will be provided soon.

tech.geek will be starting a podcast on Skype…

The Vietnamese Government has signed a deal that would allow all their computers to have a legitimate copy of Windows. The Minister of Finance had signed a deal for Microsoft Office last year during his trip to Microsoft. According to CNN, 90% of software used is pirated and are for sale for just 50 cents. Steve Ballmer witnessed the event.

Vietnam had introduced the Internet 10 years ago, and 15 million out of 84 million has subscribed. Ballmer also went online in a Vietnamese chat room, hosted by Vietnamnet. He will also be visiting Malaysia, Singapore and Australia this week.

No, don’t call the RSPCA… Google has launched it’s Google Hot Trends, using Google Zeitgeist but go as far of providing ‘hot’ stuff in each city, state or country. But most of them had couple of hiccups, like on May 21st’s hot trend was a legless chihuahua… WTF?

Yes, you can now buy and download vista off the microsoft website. I was thinking, this will be another target for piracy. Some hacker is going to find the files and people are going to download right off the microsoft site. But why does microsoft want people to download off there site? I don’t know. Here is a screenshot of the download.
