Hey there.
Today im reviewing my new Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime.
I have to say. for the price its worth (More than $NZD200) its one of the best iPhone/iPod Stereos out on the market that i have seen.
This Stereo has Amazing sound quality and Volume.
Never need to put the remote where you will forget it. You can slot it in the back when your not using it
One thing i can say is. You can't navigate the menus with the remote. (Which would have been nice to seen)
And the stunning Interface its got i love it Crystal Clear(With My glasses on of corse lol.)
Pros..
• Its got good Volume Level
• Its got a remote holder on the back
• Motion-Activated Controls
• Dual Alarm
• Easy to read interface
• Time in 12 Hour Or 24 Hour
• FM/AM Radio
• Backup battery
Cons
• Can't Navigate around iPhone with remote
• The Screwdriver is a little bit too small (Even with my small hands).
Overall Rating 9/10
Thanks Luke

In the world of technology lately, there has been a lot of change and innovation going on with the machines many of us use in our -day-today lives. The PC, for a long time, has dominated market share and seen as a God-send for businesses. Over the years, the price and efficiency of computers have opposed each as the price drops and processing power increases. Apple however, are seen as a 'cool', 'hip' company that currently has a strong, loyal fan and developer base. Marvels that amazed the world, thanks to Mac OS X and the iPod range, didn't come without an expensive price tag. Microsoft, now in a fray to repair its damaged reputation after the disastrous Vista release, have dumped their Seinfeld ads and put on hold their "I'm A PC" campaign for the moment to make way for their new "Laptop Hunters" Campaign.
Currently, there are three ads, with a possible fouth on the way. The first one Laptop Hunters - Lauren Gets A HP Pavilion tells teh story of a woman named Lauren who has a strict, $1000 budget. If she finds the right laptop she is looking for, shee keeps it. Upon entering the Apple Store, she whines that she is not 'cool enough' to be a 'Mac' person. She states that for $1000 there is only a 13" screen available and she would have to double her budget to get a stylish Unibody MacBook.
The second one - Laptop Hunters $1500 Lisa and Jackson get a Sony VAIO - features an 11-year-old boy wanting to get a new laptop with Lisa. He looks at the Apple machines and they both agree that they look good, but are out of their price range. Jackson ends up buying a Sony VAIO and states that he is a PC.
This new campaign by Microsoft is conveniently timed with current economic conditions and is solely attacking the price of Apple's MacBook line. Apple is known for having more expensive hardware and software but for those who buy it and learn to use it properly, say that the cost of purchase is definitely outweighed by the experience and overall use of the machine/software.

Graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA is said to be in talks with Taiwanese chipmaker VIA Technologies to buy a significant amount of shares after VIA recently put 300 million new shares, ranging from US$0.27 to US$0.35 per share, according to website Digitimes.
While nothing has not been said yet, a possible announcement for the candidates to purchase the shares will be named in a June 19th shareholders meeting.
However, according to Engadget, the website has really got a bad track record when it comes to rumours – but the companies have worked together before. Plus, with NVIDIA fighting with Intel, and VIA being a competitor to Intel – NVIDIA might have a motive in purchasing the shares.
But, we will see if this turns out to be true.

The greatest way to destroy that valuable data on your hard drive. While don’t recommend that you get one of these (since it is very expensive), it is the only way to make sure that your data is unrecoverable, unless you want to leave your computer on for a couple of hours or days reformatting the drive 100 times.

Texas Instruments has announced that it will axe 3,400 employees, as the company continues to battle falling profits as it’s fourth quarter profit saw a massive reduction, sinking by 95 percent, to $51 million, from $996 million in Q4 2007.
“We are realigning our expenses with a global economy that continues to weaken,” TI’s chairman, president and chief executive Rich Templeton said in a statement. “By reducing expenses now, we keep TI financially strong and able to invest for future growth.”
“Most of the reductions will come in our internal support functions and non-core product lines so that a greater percentage of the dollars we spend will go directly toward developing and supporting Analog and Embedded Processing products,” he continues.
“We believe these are the areas that will drive TI's future growth and allow us to achieve our financial objectives.”
Even with the tiny profit (and that may still be a blessing in disguise), the company is sending 12 percent of its workforce into unemployment. 1,800 will be laid off, while the other 1,600 will be done through “voluntary retirements and departures”.

CES 2009 : D-Link has brought out at CES this year a brand new router that claims to have the fastest data speeds for an 802.11n wireless router. It will also have wide and local area network gigabit ports, SharePort technology and “simultaneous dual-band 2.4 and 5 gigahertz performance”.
It’s data speed is theoretically 450 megabits per second – and compare that to the new 802.11n technology, which operate at 300 megabits per second – it’s pretty fast, theoretically.
It also has three antennas and is supposed to be green since it uses its in-house technology to save power through “innovative” cable and port detection technology and wireless scheduling.

CES 2009 : AMD has brought out a new series of graphics processors for notebooks, the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4000, that is said to “redefine” gaming with advanced capabilities on notebooks. Along with the new features, it is set to deliver up to one teraFLOP of performance power, with support for its CrossFireX technology.
It supports DirectX 10.1 and will be the first to support the GDDR5 memory technology, which is said to be nearly twice the memory bandwidth of GDDR3 and GDDR4. It is also said to be energy-efficient, with several power-saving features, and can support 1080p HD resolution when viewing on HD-capable panels, televisions or monitors.
There will be three in the series at launch, the Radeon HD 4600, the Radeon HD 4300 and the Radeon HD 4500 – all of them are for notebooks. This is said to be available starting in Q1 2009 with several notebook manufacturers like ASUS and MSI.

Matthew Robert Young, a man who is a “State prisoner confined in the Oregon Department of Corrections, Snake River Correctional Institution” (basically, he’s in jail), has brought a suit against Intel; claiming that he told Steve Jobs about the virtualisation technology, which Jobs then passed it on to Intel.
Young is also claiming that he is being “unlawfully held and restrained of his liberty and freedom in the Snake River Correctional Institution”. That matter is being brought up in a separate civil action.
In the 27-page court filing, he claims that “If anyone in the world today can come before this Court, at an evidentiary hearing, and present to this Court a creditable challenge… which are known as the [Core-2 Duo Micro Processor, and Virtual Technology], allegedly invented by Intel Corporation, then the pro se plaintiff agrees to be HELD liable for the Ten Thousand Dollar [$10,000.00] civil fine fees.”
