HP Envy Spectre Ultrabook teaser video leaks

HP’s new unannounced Ultrabook looks like it has been leaked, with Engadget recieving an official-looking teaser for a HP Ultrabook, called the HP Spectre, from a trusted source at HP.

Their source didn’t leave many details around, apart from saying that an official portal will be online tomorrow. Strangely, the device in the video doesn’t have keyboard, so hopefully tomorrow brings clearer news and possibly an explanation.

OPINION: Windows Phone 7 is FAR FROM DEAD

Wired Epicenter recently published an article on Windows Phone titled ‘Is Windows Phone’s Consumer Focus Killing It?‘. It’s certainly reasonable to propose that the consumer focus is a reason for Windows Phone’s less than spectacular adoption, but to say that Microsoft’s will to satisfy the end consumers to the highest degree possible will be a prominent cause in the platform’s possible demise is pushing it much too far.

Intel’s System-on-a-Chip “Medfield” specs leaked

An online report, citing various sources, has claimed that Intel will soon release a new 32nm System-on-a-Chip codenamed “Medfield” that will compete with NVIDIA’s Tegra and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.

VR-Zone has leaked the performance of its benchmark prototype tablet – running a 1.6GHz chip, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 10.1-inch display, and having Android 3.x Honeycomb installed. The tablet managed to score a Caffeinemark 3 score of 10,500 – according to the report. In comparison, the Tegra 2 scores 7500 and the Snapdragon MSM8260 scores 8000.
