Blue Microphones – the makers of the Yeti microphone – has announced (quietly on their blog) three new microphones at this year’s CES. All three are designed for those needing to record on the go – with two microphones suitable for your iOS device.

Canonical has revealed the subject for their soon to be revealed ‘Ubuntu Concept Design’ to BBC News.

Two new goggles with a video camera have been announced by Liquid Image. While both feature 1080p HD video recording, the TORQUE HD has been designed for off-road while the APEX HD is for snow sports.
Liquid Image, known for manufacturing wearable sports cameras, has announced a new camera. Dubbed the EGO, the camera has been designed to be mountable on cars, bikes, motorcycles and surfboards; capturing video in full 1080p HD.
Nikon announced their D4 before CES started. The DSLR features 16.2 megapixels, shooting at 10 frames per second, and promises to produce images and video in stunning clarity and colou, with an ISO range between 100 and 204,800.

Gaming headset maker Turtle Beach have announced in the prelude to CES some new headsets coming to market this year, including three new headsets that are part of its expansion to target mobile gamers.
Lenovo ThinkPad S430
Lenovo has added a range of new laptops in the run-up to CES – with the ThinkPad Edge S430, E430, E530; the ThinkPad B series and the ThinkPad X1. All, however, promise to have excellent performance despite the pretty interiors.
Lenovo is adding a new ultrabook to the soon-to-be growing market at this year’s lead-up to CES, with the ThinkPad T430u – a brand new business-orientated ultrabook that have the same designs as the consumer versions without sacrificing performance.
It’s no secret that Google’s Android is a hot potato in the mobile market, even against the consumers darling the iPhone, one area that Google however, hasn’t been so lucky with is Google TV – but that hasn’t stopped Google persevering.
Google TV has found a big backer. LG has announced that it will combine its own Smart TV offering with Google TV – which runs a version of Google’s Android OS – allowing consumers to experience both services and access much more content previously unavailable through LG’s Smart TV.
Also announced by Motorola before CES was the MOTOLUXE, a phone that appears to also target the developing markets except with some premium features. The phone has a sleek design, runs on Gingerbread and has an 8-megapixel camera, something you don’t expect for a phone targeting such markets.
The Motorola DEFY is about to get a lower-priced cousin with Motorola announcing before CES 2012 the Motorola DEFY MINI. Featuring the same water-resistant, dust-proof and scratch-proof (thanks to a Gorilla Glass screen) claim, it features lower specs to possibly attract emerging markets.
