Guitar Hero 6 is already in development

Just a couple of months after the launch of Guitar Hero 5, rock group ‘Tesla’ have confirmed in an interview with Bravewords.com that their song ‘Modern Day Cowboy’. Activision as well, has just released information during an investor’s call that they will be releasing the next Guitar Hero game in 2010.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Battle of Bothawui video

Bioware have posted another video in their timeline series on the official Star Wars: The Old Republic website,. It depicts a battle between the Sith and the Jedi which resulted in a draw. The battle was the first major defeat of the Empire’s ships which led to boosted morale in the Galaxy against the Empire, that they could be matched in strength. Several weeks later though, the Empire ordered several hundred ships to destroy what was left of Bothawui. Check it out on the official website.

Time for a Brutal History Lesson

Brutal Legend has just recently come out a week ago and before i review it, I’d like you to listen and learn about the culture of Metal.

Heavy Metal as we know it started in the summer of 69’, referencing to the song of the same name. The most legendary of guitarists was famous that decade, playing at Woodstock and being recognized worldwide. His name was Jimi Hendrix. Also this decade we saw the startings of Thin Lizzy and UFO, who are some earl Heavy Metal bands. Later on came the 80’s, which most Head-bangers would define as “the greatest music decade of all time”. Hundreds of bands that started in the 80’s would become synonymous with Metal fans. Bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath would become international cult bands that are still widely recognised as some of the greatest Metal bands ever.

Nintendo’s anti-piracy measures, have they gone too far?

“ROMs can only be obtained and played if you already own the game, have a license to the game or are part of a commercial marketing company. This seems fine until you notice that your gameplay is disrupted from built-in anti-piracy software, programmed by Nintendo to stop you from allegedly playing it illegally.”
