Apple begins recall of first-gen iPod nanos after battery problems
Apple has begun its recall program to replace the first generation iPod nano, after determining that there is a problem with the battery. Any iPod nano that was sold between September 2005 and December 2006 could “overheat and pose a safety risk”.

Steve Jobs’ sister, Mona Simpson, has published a eulogy about her brother in the New York Times today. Simpson delivered eulogy was given at a memorial to him on October 16 at the Memorial Church in Stanford University, the same university where Jobs gave a speech.
New backdoor Trojan discovered of OS X
OSX/Tsunami-A, a new Trojan horse for Mac OS X has been discovered by Sophos. The Trogan is a port of the linux virus, Troj/Kaiten. Which embeds itself into the system and listens for commands on an IRC network. What makes this Trojan particularly nasty is that the controller can instruct your computer to DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) a particular computer/server/ip address. The trojan also allows the controller to run any script or command on your Mac as they wish.
