Destiny Collector’s Editions and Beta dates announced

Announced this morning during Bungie Day (July 7th), three Collector’s Editions for Destiny, two editions that include physical and in-game items, whereas the other focuses on a digital download edition. The prices have been set for the US, we’re definitely sure these prices won’t be the same for Australia, so keep an eye out for updates.

Each expansion can be purchased separately for $19.99USD and will include content exclusive to PlayStation that will remain exclusive until Fall 2015.

The dates for the Destiny Beta have also been revealed, only accessible by those who have pre-ordered the game.

Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 owners get a headstart and will start on

  • July 17th (10am PDT) | July 18th (3am AEST)

Whereas Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners get to play on 

  • July 23rd(10am PDT) | July 24th (3am AEST)

The Beta will be offline for scheduled maintenance on

  • July 21 – 22 (10am PDT *presumably) | July 22 – 23 (3am AEST*) 

Opening back up across all platforms until

  • July 27th (11:59 PDT) | July 28th (4:59pm AEST)

Destiny releases September 9th this year, on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3.
