Logitech’s Ultimate Ears has announced that its latest Bluetooth speaker, the UE Mini Boom, is coming to Australia. As its name implies, it is essentially a miniature version of the UE Boom and, despite the small pocketable size, promises to give you crystal clear stereo sound wherever you are.

The Mini Boom connects to your device through Bluetooth; and if you have an NFC chip, you can pair your mobile device to the speakers with a single tap. An extra feature of the Mini Boom is that you can pair two speakers together to double the sound – but that feature is only available when you download the free app for iOS or Android. The battery life, according to Logitech, is up to ten hours.

The UE Mini Boom is expected to arrive at Dick Smith, JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman, Myer, Apple and The Good Guys in late February; with a recommended retail price of $99.95.
