By on

The Briefing is back for another year, but with some sad news. Internet activist, Reddit co-founder and co-author of the RSS 1.0 specification, Aaron Swartz, sadly committed suicide on Friday.

The Briefing is your ten-minute-or-less news podcast on the news that you should know. We’re back for 2013, and I do hope you continue to listen and subscribe. Also apologies if there is a bit of a sound differences between stories.

As well, if you are, or know anyone that is contemplating suicide, please contact Lifeline Australia on 13 11 14.
