Thought Duke Nukem Forever was crap? The developers want to hear from you

Duke Nukem Forever developer Gearbox has launched a survey asking for feedback asking why the long-awaited (and nobody wanted) game of the past 14 years was such a big flop in both the market and with reviewers.

“Gearbox prides itself in listening to the community, and this is your chance to tell us how you feel about Duke Nukem Forever,” the company said in the survey. Despite being anonymous, you can put your name to win a swag bag. Yes, because that is what anonymous submissions mean.

The survey will essentially ask you a series of questions asking what you liked and do not like in the game, and generic questions about what are your “preferences” in a shooter (or nudity, violence and humour if you happen to say you didn’t play it but rather wanted to spam their survey system, which is totally understandable).

But essentially, it’s just asking you why you thought the game was crap when we thought it was good. And now I’m going to get hater mail from one guy. Here’s the thing: you can tell if the game is crap when stores are trying to sell a new copy at reduced price just two weeks into the game’s release.

Maybe that’s how HP got the idea of a firesale for the TouchPad?

Though, we do want to hear your reactions on Duke Nukem Forever. Put them into the comments – don’t worry, you can swear. We won’t judge you. Unlike our politicians in Victoria.

Thanks for coming onboard!
We're excited to have you.
