As we near the end of the year, we also approach the galore of rumours ahead of the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month. This one, coming from the blog titled Blog of Mobile!! (and yes, it does come from Japan), is supposedly a new Sony Ericsson phone that has not been revealed.
The phone is codenamed Hallon and features a microUSB and 3.5mm headphone jack at the top – and that’s really rather standard. It also features a front-facing camera with an enormous lens and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. And that’s all we know. No internals, no screen size, nothing.
Another interesting tidbit is that this picture was taken with another unreleased Sony Ericsson phone called the Anzu – and that is assuming that it has the model number LT15i and has an 8-megapixel camera. However, the Anzu is rumoured to have a 12-megapixel camera, so it is either not taking the image at its full resolution or happens to be a new phone.
But we have to wait and see what Sony brings out at CES this year. Expect some shocks and some playing catchup.
