After showing off lots of Platform Previews for Internet Explorer 9, five to be exact, Microsoft has finally released a public beta for the new browser. Boasting speed, clean new looks and support for HTML5, CSS3, SVG and DOM, the new browser is starting to catch up to Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Still, I think it still has a long way to go.
Try it out here but remember, Beta software is always possibly unstable. And if your default browser is IE8, then you may want to wait until the final release before you jump in.
