The sequel of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, released on the PS3, has finally been given a released date and as well a collector’s edition of the game. The game’s release is set for October 15th in Europe. Unlike the original game, this game will be released on both PS3 and the Xbox 360.

The game will include all the story arc from the anime and the manga with new battle system to enchance the gameplay. Players are able to select support characters, or companions to unleash a Team Special Technique. A new game mode, Online Mode, the first for the game series will allow players to play other players online.

Other features that will twist the gameplay are the inclusion of the criminal organisation, Akatsuki; and as well a guess character, Lars Alexandersson from Tekken 6, with a costume designed by Naruto creator, Masashi Kishimoto.

As the game is being release on the 15th of October, a game demo is being released on August 25th, available on Playstation Network and Xbox Live.

The game’s collector’s edition will include a numbered Laser Cell art of Hokage-Naruto drawn by the creator to mark the 10th anniversary, an original soundtrack on a second disk, and a DLC card to allow the player to unlock Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, instead of unlocking him in-game.

With the original Japanese voiceover, numerous power-ups and unlockable content, new areas to explore, and as well being faithful to the anime, Naruto Shippuden: Ulimate Ninja Storm 2 will be loved for all Naruto Otakus.
