There have been reports that there are more problems with the iPhone, but this time its with the iPhone 3G. iPhone 3G users have been saying that after a software update, their iPhone is sluggish and in some cases, barely usable.
The update that is causing this is Apple’s new iOS4 which they say “makes the iPhone more powerful, easier to use, and more indispensable than ever”. However, I’m sure there are many iPhone 3G users willing to debate that. Users say that the phone lags behind when using apps and sometimes the phone just freezes.
This iOS4 update wasn’t even optional, the phone just updates when it is plugged in to the computer. It gets worse when you find out that you can’t reverse the changes and are stuck with a barely usable iPhone.
This begs the question, how could this sort of problem get through Apple’s testing or maybe there just isn’t any. Maybe Apple are trying to sabotage the 3G in order to get customers to upgrade to their new iPhone when it comes out. Certainly good timing for a dodgy update to come out, just as the iPhone 4 is about to be released in multiple countries world wide.
