Netgear’s new way to connect your laptop to your TV – wireless?

By Terence Huynh on January 2nd, 2010

Looks like Wireless is making a big impact this year (along with Tablets, 4G phones [possibly], e-books and 3D TV) as new pictures show Netgear’s next product – a wireless way of connecting your laptop to the television? The PTV1000 Push 2 TV adapter recently hit the FCC database, and is expected to use an upcoming Intel standard known as Wireless Display that can be found within Core i3, i5 or i7 with an Intel GMA HD graphics adapter and Windows 7. Pricing and availability has not been told, but expect an announcement during CES – hopefully, because this could be helpful in reducing the cable clutter.
