In its E3 press conference, Microsoft has brought out more information on its new Halo 3: ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper), a game in the saga that let people experience events trough the eyes of an ODST in the lead up to Halo 3.
The new game features a new cooperative multiplayer mode called Firefight, where four players can assume the role of an ODST squad and fight enemies together; three new Halo 3 multiplayer maps on a second standalone disc – including the original maps, and the “Legendary”, “Heroic” and “Mythic” map packs, for a total of 24 maps.
The game will also include access to the new multiplayer beta, “Halo: Reach”, and more information will be shared to the press at a “later date”. The game will cost US$59.99 for the game, or US$99 for a collector’s edition.
