Though Japan is known for making gadgets that you would like to crave for, South Korea’s LG Display has now become the new record holder for the world’s thinnest LCD screen, with the company releasing its new 42-inch and 47-inch models that are only 5.9mm thick – or 0.23 inches if you are using the other system – and are very light, only weighing 6.1kg and 7.3kg respectively.

According to DisplayBlog, the LCD panels are said to have an improved colour gamut, and incorporated 120Hz technology to reduce motion blur.

But the only question is: Where can I get one?
