Flip Mino maker to be bought by Cisco?

ScreenShot186Makers of the Flip Mino and Flip Mino HD camcorders,  Pure Digital Technologies, is said to be for sale with one interest buyer being Cisco, according to TechCrunch.

The camera, which has been hugely popular (even though it hasn’t hit the Australian market yet) as it allows users to upload videos on the internet by attaching them via a USB port attached to the device.

It is also reporting that it is a “done deal”, quoting another unnamed source, with the price being somewhere in the $500 million range, with CEO and Founder Jonathan Kaplan getting $80 million.

Both have not been confirmed.
