Slingbox has finally found an Australian distributor to release its line of products. Appointing Digital Products Group, Australians will now have access to its line of set-top boxes that will allow you to watch your cable or free-to-air television from anywhere around the world via the internet.
The Slingbox Solo, which allow you to connect to one AV source via composite, S-Video or Component, will cost you $349; while the Slingbox Pro, which allows you to have 3 separate sources via the same connections and features an integrated digital TV tuner, will cost $499.
The SlingCatcher, which allows you watch and control anything that is connected with a Slingbox, watch online video and listen or watch any media on your USB connected drive, will cost $499. However, there has not been any word if the Slingbox Pro-HD, which adds HD capabilities to the Slingbox Pro, will be available in Australia.
All will come out in late March of this year.

SlingCatcher – The SlingCatcher, with its included remote control, allows customers to access and control any device connected to a Slingbox – for instance a PVR, STB or PayTV Box – located in another room in the house or even on a remote TV. With SlingCatcher you can now watch your home TV on another TV. The SlingCatcher also allows customers to watch online video from any popular site on the internet on your big screen TV. Simply highlight the the video window on your PC and the Audio and Video will sling up to the TV in full screen.
