New Palm to have large touchscreen, slide-down keyboard?

palm_keyboard RUMOUR MILL : CrunchGear is reporting that a source has told them that the latest smartphone from Palm will be launched on Thursday. Running on the new Nova operating system, it is expected to have a full QWERTY keyboard that will slide-down from the touchscreen.

According to the source, the phone’s new OS has been described as “amazing” and that there will be a “full software bazaar” on launch day. As well, it will have multimedia playback functions and the standard calendar, email and address book functions on every Palm.

It is expected that it will be revealed on Thursday at CES in Las Vegas.
