Today is officially “Black Friday” in Australia – even though we never heard of it. But Apple has made something out of it, with it bringing several special discounts to its products, including the 8GB iPod touch, the 13-inch MacBook and the 20-inch iMac. While some are not really impressive, the offer also stands for several software and other accessories for its products.

However, in America, it has not begun – but you will be able to have the price be matched to a reseller. According to an internal memo, Apple Store employees will now have the authority to match the prices. Traditionally, it did not approve these “deals”, but there has been no policy regarding this practise.

Hurry now before it ends – because it only happens today! And yes, this affects all the Apple Stores in Australia (not the resellers though).
