According to Liliputing, Amazon has cut the price of the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, HP’s own competitor to the Asus eeePC; and this is its third cut in less than a week, meaning that Amazon really wants to get rid of it. It was previously $499, then it dropped to $379.99, and now its $299. So what would you get with the “netbook” for that low price? Well:
- CPU: 1.2GHz VIA C7-M processor
- Display: 8.9-inch display.
- 4GB solid state drive, and 512MB of RAM – but that is upgradable to 2GB.
- OS is SUSE Linux Enterprise Edition
- Supports 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Ethernet
- 2 USB Ports, VGA output, ExpressCard/54 slot and an SD Card slot
- Headphone port, Mic port, 1.3 megapixel webcam, built in Mic.
