SonyBMG, the second-largest record label, have announced that they have ditched the hard copy demo discs in favor of posting your songs on their site.

Musicians will either have to sign up on www.columbiademos.co.uk or www.rcademos.co.uk to blog their music, photos and videos. SonyBMG hopes it breaks the barrier between the artists and the music labels.
